The Southeast Region Economic Forum 2016 themed “International Integration – Grasping new opportunities for economic linkage and growth” took place in HCM City on September 16The program was organized under the leadership of the Central Economic Committee, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the People's Committees of provinces and cities, Business Forum Newspaper in cooperation with the Department of Planning and Investment, Center for Trade and Investment Promotion of the provinces and cities in the Southeast Region.
On September 9th, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Dak Lak People’s Committee co-organized a regional PCI workshop “GOOD PRACTICES IN IMPROVING PROVINCIAL BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT – Central and Highland Region to best support the provinces and cities in this Region in effectively improving their business environment.
Hai Duong has channelled their efforts to improve PCI toward the goal of improving its business & investment environment, enhancing provincial competitiveness through improving each of every sub-index of PCI and gradually raising their PCI ranking to the group of 30 leading provinces by 2017 and to the group of 20 leading provinces by 2020 and finding itself in the “High” Tier.
On August 16, 2016, the PCI team was invited to give lecture at the 2016 Training Course on updating knowledge for the officials under the management of Hoa Binh Party Committee (Hoa Binh PPC for short) which was co-organized by Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Hoa Binh PPC.
On July 21, 2016, Dak Nong People's Committee in coordination with VCCI organized the workshop on improving the competitiveness of Dak Nong with the aim to put forward optimal solutions for improving the province’s business environment in the coming time.
On July 01 morning, the city of Mong Cai in collaboration with the Investment Promotion Agency organized the Conference on improving investment & business environment, enhancing departmental and district level competitiveness index (DDCI) 2016 and training on strengthening firm competitiveness in international integration.
June 29, 2016: in the morning, Lao Cai People’s Committee held a Symposium on Lao Cai’s Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI), Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI), tasks for 2016 and launching the Departmental and District level Competitiveness Index (DDCI) of Lao Cai in 2015.
